QA-Lead
Relevant Experience: 6 - 9 years relevant.
Responsibilities:
- Manages and analyzes business requirements with the ability to prioritize during changes and conflicts
- Ability to provide and review estimates at the project level
- Understands the functional / technical aspects of the product/application being tested in addition to quickly adapt to the domain
- Expert in automated test script using tools
- Ability to break down the test scenarios into unit level conditions as per the test design guidelines
- Participate in peer review of test cases
- Create and review test plan
- Provide test estimates - schedule and cost
- Setup test environment
- Define test execution approach
- Analyze test results to determine overall quality of software under test
- Deeply understands the various testing tools and environments
- Evaluate and recommend test tools for automated test approach
- Expert knowledge of test management tool - any (Selenium, JMeter, Part Cover)
- Good knowledge in performance testing concepts and tools
- Deeply understands the various testing tools and environments
- Expert in various tool set - test management, functional test automation and performance testing
- Escalates issues/risks in a timely manner and ensures optimal utilization of operational and financial
resource consistently outperforming set standards
- Define work management processes, effectively communicates with the team/client ensuring all commitments made are met consistently
- Ability to train/mentor other members
- Ability to plan and prioritize the work ahead effectively
- Owns responsibility to assign and manage deliverables for a small team
- Escalates issues/risks in a timely manner
- Should be able to identify problem areas and resolve the same logically and independently
Work Management:
- Ability to independently estimate project level efforts and schedules (Tier 2 projects)
- Owns responsibility and manages deliverables for at least two projects at any give point of time with two small teams
- Create and review all periodic/adhoc reports along with presenting to client/stakeholders
- Ability to do root cause analysis and improve turn around time
- Remains on top of the project capturing all matrices defined, tracking for any deviations and applying corrective actions
- Proactively identify risks associated to the project and come up with workable solutions
- Ability to assist in defining SOW's
Team Management:
- Effectively delegates activities within the team and monitors all tasks (8 - 15 people)
- Ensures optimum efficiency and productivity of the team
- Conducts trainings in area of specialization or as per project needs
- Ensures team spirit and constant knowledge sharing within the team
Client Management:
- Responsive to client communication
- Sends regular status updates and escalates issues
- Consulting with customers on issue resolution
